September 7, 2007, Newsletter Issue #1: Gourmet Chocolate Chip Cookie Delivery Program Is A Great School Fundraiser

Tip of the Week

There is a tasty new school fundraising program that is growing in popularity. This online cookie delivery business offers to support the academic growth of our youth by creating a great tasting fund raising opportunity.

Students participating in this fundraiser focuses on the selling of gourmet cookie dough to friends, family members, and neighbors. After the sale is over, the entire order of cookie dough is delivered to the school and then each child takes care of their own personal cookie delivery. Once the funds have all been processed, the school receives a portion of the profits for supplies or necessary products for the children.

This program is an innovative way to generate funds for your child’s school. The frozen pre-made cookie dough comes in six different flavors: oatmeal raisin, macadamia nut white chip, chocolate chunk, peanut butter with Reeces peanut butter chips, candy cookie with M&M’s and sugar free chocolate chip.

Companies such as David’s Cookies provide students with an opportunity to sell a variety of recipes in their fundraiser program, allowing customers to choose their personal favorites. Each recipe arrives frozen in a 3-pound tub and makes 96 one-ounce cookies.

The dough remains fresh for up to one month in the refrigerator and 6 months in the freezer. However, these gourmet cookies are so good, it is often more difficult to keep the dough in the refrigerator rather than worrying about it not getting used in a timely fashion.
